Chalet La Ferme is in a fantastic location to enjoy all of the local region. Walking trails start from outside the chalet and you can enjoy beautiful scenic walks in to Megeve, St Gervais or Combloux
Each village has a unique charm and provides winter markets, beautiful shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and even a Casino. A lovely afternoon can be spent on the walk into Megeve with the reward of a Vin Chaud waiting at the end. Walking trails also run up the mountain from behind the Chalet, where you can walk up to a number of mountain restaurants should you feel energetic enough.
Megeve town centre is very picturesque and you can enjoy a horse drawn cart to take you around under a warm blanket or enjoy wandering around the mountain town with a wonderful array of shops, bars and restaurants. The Christmas tree and lights in the central square are beautiful and stay up all season
St Gervais and Combloux are both very lovely towns too. St Gervais is built in a classic provisional town style, a grand throw back to the last century, it also has a number of fantastic restaurants with a more low key vibe than Megeve.
St Gervais also has hot natural springs so a trip down the the spa is recommended, or the Palace de sport in Megeve with it's Spa and Olympic sized swimming pool, plus a ice skating ring.
'Domaine Évasion Montblanc', comprises: Megève itself (Mont d'Arbois, Jaillet, Rochebrune and Côte 2000), Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Combloux, La Giettaz, Les Contamines-Montjoie and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.
On an area of 8 km² there are 111 lifts providing access to 219 slopes totalling 445 km. 34 blacks, 82 reds, 65 blues and 38 greens. The chalet is also well placed for the resorts of Chamonix 20 mins. Evasion Diamond 10 mins
