Cross Country Skiing starting outside the door

Right outside the door begins trails in all directions to some of the most scenic and beautiful cross country areas. The chalet is situated in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Megeve.

Chalet La Ferme Provides a perfect base for cross country skiing in the area. The resorts of Megeve, St Gervais or Combloux are all within 5 minutes of the chalet. Within 20 minutes we have Chamonix, Les Contamines and the Espace Diamond and a huge number more within 30 minutes.

Each resort has a unique charm and provides a fresh challenge, changing conditions and an amazing opportunity to experience all of the local area. Our driver is on hand to take you to any of these resorts (small premium charge).


Megeve and St Gervais, both have some fantastic cross country routes through the mountains - carving in and out of the trees. Further afield you can visit some of the highest pieces in Europe over at Chamonix.


St Gervais and Combloux are both very lovely areas to explore with fantastic trails and have the highest piste up at Mont Joly. Combloux offers so beautiful quite routes through the trees. Fantastic for powder on a snowy day sheltered by the trees. We always enjoy a day out at Les Contamines with some great snow cover and challenging climbs. Why not enjoy the pistes over at Praz Sur Arly. Very quiet and huge area to enjoy.
